Author Coaching
Bringing your story, confidence and creativity together.
Author coaching provides personalised support for writers who want to develop their work, strengthen their confidence and move forward with greater clarity.
Drawing on my experience as an author and publishing professional, alongside psychotherapy-informed coaching skills, I work with authors to explore their ideas, overcome creative blocks and develop a sustainable writing practice.

Coaching can support you with:
-
Developing your story, ideas and writing practice
-
Building confidence and overcoming self-doubt
-
Procrastination, creative blocks and maintaining momentum
-
Identifying your strengths and areas for development
-
Constructive and developmental feedback
-
Understanding the publishing journey
-
Developing sustainable and independent writing habits
My approach considers the author as well as the writing — helping you understand what you need to move forward and enabling you to develop your work in a way that feels authentic to your voice.
The result: greater confidence, clarity and direction as you progress towards publication.

Dyslexia Informed Publishing

A particular area of expertise is creating a more accessible and strengths based publishing experience for dyslexic authors.
This includes consideration of accessible typography, formatting, communication and presentation, alongside the development of the Grace Typeface and a considered approach to dyslexia friendly publishing.
With established relationships within the author and publishing community, the consultancy can also support the introduction and development of new author and publishing opportunities.
The result: a more connected, accessible and supportive publishing experience for authors.
